Hi there!
Hi my name is Allye Erickson, and I grew up in rural Southeast Wisconsin and have recently moved further North to Lac Du Flambeau, WI. I graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design with a BFA in Illustration and a minor in Natural Science. Growing up I spent many summers in Sugar Camp, WI, fishing, exploring, and observing wildlife. These summers fostered a deep appreciation for nature, which continues to influence my work today. Art and the natural world have always been integral to my life, culminating in my passion for taxidermy.
My journey began with freelancing at a taxidermy studio, where I applied my artistic skills to repair antlers and add finishing details to all of the shoulder mounts. Through hands-on experience during a busy hunting season, I swiftly progressed to crafting my first of many whitetail shoulder mounts. I have since worked on a variety of specimens including mule deer, elk, half black bears and a life-size black bear. My commitment to detail and realism, coupled with a drive for continuous improvement, has propelled my career forward.
Thank you for visiting my website. I look forward to the opportunity to turn your next hunt into a custom masterpiece.
